Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. Her work has been in the margins of traditional and popular music since her teens she also delves into other genres such as the hip hop soul genre and trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player who is renowned for her talent, described her voice by saying it is sweet, with a traditional bite. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial hit. It topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and received a Grammy. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd appeared in 2021. Motomami, her third album was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released in March 2022 following an appearance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to appear alone on the popular program. Motomami, Rosalia's album that won three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to have the Latin Album of the Year award twice.
